There are various forms of energy. The following examples show how everyday technological objects transform one form of energy into another, usually to perform a task:
2)The chemical energy which is transformed into mechanical energy in order to move objects.
3)Chemical energy can be stored in fireworks. When fireworks explode, that chemical is converted into light, head, sound and mechanical energy.
4)Photovoltaic solar panels transform luminous energy from the Sun into electrical energy.
5)Internal combutions engines transform the chemical energy of fossil fuels into thermal energy. Most of this thernal energy is transformed into motion, but some is lost as heat. Some energy is also lost as sound when certains parts of the motor hit each other and vibrate.
6)A kitchen mixer converts electrical energy into kinetic energy to turn the machine's axis. Some of this kinetic energy is passed to the liquid, which moves around. Some energy is also lost as heat.
7)In starts, the nuclear energy of atoms, such as hydrogen, is transformed into very intensive luminous and thermal energy.
Energy can be transformed, but it cannot be created or destroyed. This is the principle of energy conservation.
